Algerian companies at Libya Construction Expo

The sixth edition of the Libya Construction Expo (LCXPO) opened its doors from Monday, November 27 to Thursday, November 30, 2023, under the supervision of the General Exhibitions Authority. The fair was held in the Tripoli International Fairgrounds.

Pavilion 59 featured Algerian exhibitors from a variety of sectors.

This international exhibition is considered one of the most important construction exhibitions in Libya, supported by the Ministry of Economy and Trade, the Ministry of Housing and Construction, the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, the Union of Engineering Professors and the General Exhibition Authority.

The “Zed Digidek” agency, called Zed events is the official representative of the Libya Construction Expo in Algeria, plays a role in promoting and coordinating this event on Algerian territory, linking Algerian companies and local players to this world-renowned platform.

Over a hundred major companies were present at this international event. Among them were a number of Algerian companies who stood out at Libya Construction Expo with their distinct expertise in key areas of the industry. TIZIRI Ceramica, a renowned ceramics expert known for its high-end ceramic tile compositions.

GRALCOME, a mineral industry expert in the production of mechanical parts and anti-wear coatings. Furthermore, Algerian Qatari Steel (AQS), the result of an investment collaboration between Algeria and Qatar, has established itself as a steel industry pillar, displaying its commitment to steel production innovation and quality.

Their united attendance emphasized Algerian industry’s energy and competence, complementing the event with their substantial contribution.

Along with the Libya Construction Expo, two specialized events marked their first edition. The first, WATER-TECH Expo, ran simultaneously, offering an exclusive platform for exploring technological advances and innovative solutions in the crucial field of water management. Meanwhile, the “Libya HVAC Expo”, specializing in heating,

refrigeration and air-conditioning solutions, completed this trio of events. In addition, the first-ever “Libyan Technicians Forum Expo” was set up to bring together technicians and offer young Libyans a unique opportunity to explore technical and professional trades in the building and construction sectors.

This combination of specialized exhibitions allowed professionals from these interconnected sectors to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and form strategic alliances, demonstrating the potential and commitment of national and international players to the mutual advancement and growth of the industries represented.
